Role
We are looking for a pro-active and independent Office Manager to support our Amsterdam operation. In the role you will be responsible for supporting the company’s staff, coordinate with external service providers and ensuring that everything within the office runs efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in assisting in Qardio’s recruitment effort and HR activities.

Office Management:

  • Organise/maintain office operations and procedures
  • Maintain office supplies, fruits and coordinate with vendors
  • Organise travel, accommodation and necessary travel visas often at last minute
  • Serve as the go-to person for the office

Finance Assistance:

  • Compile quarterly VAT returns for UK and NL
  • Assist our Accounting Analyst with monthly account reconciliations
  • Approve expenses from employees in Expensify

HR Assistance:

  • Work with IND, Belastingdienst, and Expat Centre for visa applications & 30% rulings
  • Maintain HR files using BambooHR
  • Monthly payroll updates for two countries
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including advertising, head hunting, interviews, job offers, employment contracts and onboarding of new staff.

The ideal candidate profile

  • Must have 3 - 5 years solid office management/administrative experience
  • Familiar with Dutch Employment Law including visa applications and 30% rulings
  • Experience with start up/tech recruitment is a plus
  • Proactive, flexible, autonomous
  • Must be fluent in English. Fluency in Dutch 
  • International exposure preferred
  • Be passionate about digital health
  • Available immediately is preferred
